March is American Red Cross Month
Since 1943, March has been designated as Red Cross Month, a time to recognize the valuable contributions of our supporters whose generosity makes the work of the American Red Cross possible.
The Red Cross fulfills a unique and vital role not only for those in need, but for all who engage with us on some level. We all work very hard to be there with help and hope when people need it most – and we need the public’s support to continue our work. Working together, combining national and local efforts, we can make this March campaign truly successful.
We’re calling on everyone in our community to be a HERO and engage with the Red Cross – whether it is by donating blood; signing up for a CPR, first aid or another Red Cross course; giving a financial gift that can really save the day when the next disaster strikes; or getting involved as a volunteer.
