Purdue University and Greater Lafayette area businesses are donating tickets for the football game on September 11: Purdue vs. Western Illinois. All active military and their family members are eligible to receive these tickets.

Tickets will be available at the Tippecanoe County Chapter of the American Red Cross through Thursday, September 9. A military ID must be presented to receive the tickets. Subject to availability.

The Tippecanoe County Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a $300/semester scholarship for student nurses attending Purdue University, St. Elizabeth’s School of Nursing or Ivy Tech schools. Through this scholarship, the Red Cross hopes the recipient will become more involved in Red Cross volunteerism, specifically in the disaster health service field.
