Services
Services We Offer
Disaster Services: We provide direct financial assistance for victims to replace basic human needs (food, clothing, shelter) in emergency situations. Additionally, we provide support to emergency personnel responding to disasters.
Services to the Armed Forces: When emergency strikes military personnel or their families anywhere in the world, the American Red Cross links separated families through an emergency communication line.
Health and Safety: The Tippecanoe County Chapter offers Health and Safety Training in a variety of areas to help prepare community members and businesses for an emergency situation. In order to remain certified, CPR must be renewed on an annual basis and First Aid renewed every three years. All our certifications includes AED and Bloodborne Pathogen Training.
Transportation Program: Our dedicated corps of volunteer drivers provides transportation for residents of Tippecanoe County to out-of-town medical appointments in Indianapolis, Marion, around the state, and Danville, Illinois.

Scrubby Bear
Scrubby Bear is a 20-30 minute presentation that teaches children in kindergarten and first grade the importance of hand washing.
The presentation has lots of student interaction, storytelling, and a pledge for the children to take at the end.
The presentation can be taught in your classroom, daycare center, church, or anywhere with a big enough space!
Purdue Red Cross Club members and community volunteers teach the class. Please contact Taylor Bennett at the Red Cross to schedule a presentation, taylor@tippearc.org or 742-6975 x2222.
