The Red Cross offers a number of classes to train volunteers in disaster services. These classes are free and open to all Red Cross volunteers as well as the general public who are interested in learning more about Red Cross services.

What do we call people that, with willing hearts, give to their community week after week, year after year, expecting nothing in return? We call them volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities

The Red Cross hosts monthly orientations so interested community members can find out more about our numerous volunteer opportunities. These orientations are free and open to the public. Please join us for the next one!

The chapter hosts volunteer orientation twice a month at the Lafayette chapter [615 N 18th St, Suite 101, Lafayette, IN 47904]:

  • 2nd Wednesday of each month at 12:00pm
  • 4th Monday of each month at 5:30pm
